Hi masters, just asking the proper break in for the faito 60mm block i mean the distance that i should have traveled before i go full throttle. My snipee has racing cams, springs, 28mm keihin round and yy pang longy as the mods.

woow, so its 1000km++ too, i better pack up and gas up.its like just breaking-in the stock bore engine![]()
thanks bro, this will help a lotfirst when it is intalled.. you can run upto 80kph but be sure you reach this on a slow motion gear by gear, this is for the first 100km... like john_carlo have said earlier its like just breaking-in the stock bore engine but with precautions. when you feel like your engine is some kind hard for it to reach 100kph up your block isn't yet ready. just play your throttle until you reach 200km and when you feel like your engine run smoothly at 100kph then its done!!!
i hope that i've shared you something

no problem sir... just don't be hot on your throttle take it easy and smoothly.. also to add temperature affects improper break-inthanks bro, this will help a lot![]()
what do you mean sir with temperature?is this with overheating the engine? the engine came alive yesterday, and what we are doing now is let it idle for some time before we go on a test run.no problem sir... just don't be hot on your throttle take it easy and smoothly.. also to add temperature affects improper break-in
just make sure you rest you engine..... "pahinga din:"what do you mean sir with temperature?is this with overheating the engine? the engine came alive yesterday, and what we are doing now is let it idle for some time before we go on a test run.
Yes sir, I also made my radiator fan always on to ensure cooling. As of now the results are great.Faito infinity is steel bore. Be cautious on the oil and coolant level.
What will happen if I didn't used mineral oil?use mineral oil
We did run it on idle for 2 days before rolling it out. We let it idle for some time on those 2 days.always let the engine idle for more than 5 minutes it also help to sit in the piston rings fast. since gears are already finish on their break-in period. no need to roll out the bike. but still advisable to roll out the bike after a long idle to remove any carbon deposits on top of the piston or rev it high 5 times before turning it off the engine and let it cool down for awhile.
