Howto: Poor mans TPS mod

Yes it does. it is the socket that you will see on the top part of the carb.

here is the assembly. #20 is the TPS

Thanks to traxxas and g-tomahawk I came up with another one. The one traxxas did was simpler but just too bulky for my preference. The one g-tomahawk did was very slick and simple but it will not be able to send feedback on what position the throttle will be.

By following this thread I made my own version on how will I make the TPS functioning. At first, the blinking thermostat sensor was solved but after I reach several kilometers the thermostat sensor is again alight. I thought my radiator fan is defective. Thus, the engine is overheating until I checked it, it is working though but why do the thermostat seemed not functioning properly? By the help this thread and through it's principle, let me share how do I did it:

After this mods, my headaches due to the malfunctioning TPS was finally solved. Thank you for everyone's inputs. More power to us all.

that is TPS connector.
your TPS mods is useless if you will not connect the tps connector

so sir traxx, since this connector is missing, is the performance of the mc affected? particularly, decreased? TIA.

How about using brt cdi. Thus the temp light blinking or not. Brt cdi does not support tps.to those who is using brt cdi using stock carbs any effect or any signal that warn us during installed brt cdi specially to mx users. And how to do the poormans tps using stock carbs. Newbie here sori.
