So will stiffer springs make the engine quiter?
Cant the stock springs take any load?
Also with the 20In and 10EXT, dont u think the engine will become crazily loud? As it is, its loud. The clearance with the stock cam was 10In and EXT.
Will the srpings wear quite early then?
Bloody hell, I wanted just a mild cam...but the moron who sold us from TDR said this is perfect.
To up the compression, I'll need a piston now.
Do u guys have a high compression 57mm piston for the stock head?

I've already done all the stunts Haen.
I'm running 1.1mm shave including head + bore with the piston valve pockets deepened by 1mm. My cylinder head has been finished near the valve seat area and port is optimised as well. All done myself.
I was running the stock cam untill yesterday and the bike is faster. But switched to this cam to get a little more.
The bike is running fine, no issues.
But its the tick tick sound which is bugging. Also yesterday as soon as I installed the cam, the engine was much quiter, now after having done some 100kms, its turned more noisy.
Sounds like the tappet clearance is off.
Have u guys experienced any valve issues after putting such a cam. Do u think the stock valve springs will get weak if I use this cam?

the tick tick sound is really with the valve adjustment clearance.
that is where the sound coming from.
the solution there is to tighten the clearance a little bit to remove
the tick sound...
for the valve spring, if it gets weak buy a new one.

I have an aggressive cam where IN opens 75 deg before TDC and EX closes 30 deg after TDC. There is a big difference between this two. The stock cam has both at 15 deg, 15 deg.
Besides this, due to very high lift profile, the tapette must be set pretty loose. the loosen setting caused the tick-tick sound.
Perhaps you can give me the Vixion stock cam specification here. I'll see if I can get the custom camshaft done for you. Since the head is same as T135, perhaps I can test it before sending to you.

the tick sound is because of our setting, yes we can silent the sound but we might lost top end, am i right traxxxs :lol: sorry if i am wrong about this
