we are facing the same problem.
for now, I just used a small toggle switch and cable tied it to the clutch cable near the speedo meter.
as for which wire, try to search for a yellow wire on your left hand side, it should be located within the six pin socket
try to disconnect the yellow wire on the six pin socket first, to check if it turns of your headlight/parklights
if it does, then that should be the wire you will need to put the toggle switch to.

alternatively (this is my current setup)
trace the wire from your headlight bulb, we are looking for the LOW beam positive wire
connect a switch there, and your headlight can be turned off when you are on LOW beam.
you will also have an option for the high beam to function as a passing light.
as for the parklights, it will be turned ON all the time. no harm done here, i suppose.

whew, it's really hard for me to explain it here in english. :)

oh by the way, make sure you secure all the wires that your going to connect, specially on the toggle switch,
its a bit hard to connect a wire on those little switches.

as for the materials:
- toggle switch
- a meter or two of wire
- shrink tube or electrical tapes
- blade cutter or scissors
- small cable tie
- a lot of patience

here's mine:

You can try to use kawasaki fury's right handle switch. That's what I'm planning for tomorrow.

I was thinking of using a raider 150 left handle switch, but now that retsam mentioned it, I think its a better idea.
@retsam - please give us an update on your switch later :)
