What made you buy a T135?

Was it the looks? The power? The brand? The trend whether it is a hot selling bike or not? I think we all have some reasons why we decided to purchase this particular bike instead of other bikes...so who is first? :D

ok, ok. i'll go first. well i have been wanted a new bike. i was driving a Yamaha DT 50cc. supper slow. but the bike looked good. i was looking for a big bike, 250cc or 400cc. but my wife really didn't want me to have a big bike. so i decided to look at the local yamaha, suzuki, honda dealerships. at first, i was thinking, the Suzuki raider 150cc, but the 2006 model didn't have elec. start. then i was thinking, humm, i like the veritilaty of offroad, so i looked at the honda xr200cc. but it was too tall for my hight. then i looked at yamaha. i was thinking about the X-1 h/c. but i wanted more power. then i found out that the T135 Sniper was coming to Dau, Pampanga. WOW!! water cooled, 134.4cc, mono shock. the only thing that it didn't have that i still want is factory disk on the rear. so i had to convince my wife ( which took one month) she said ok, can we afford it. i said no, but we can make some changes. she said ok lets look at it. bam i got a new T135. I love the power, looks, performance over other bikes. everything that i wanted, at the time. Now only if i can afford to modify it the way that i want. humm any donations will be accepted!! haa haa

ride sae everyone

Do all you guys in Asia know what we call a a bike like the T135 back in America and UK? A ROAD BIKE.

Mopeds are a class of low-powered motorized vehicles, generally two-wheeled. Moped classification is designed to allow the use of small motorised vehicles, avoiding the safety restrictions and licensing charges required of larger motorcycles. Some motorized bicycles, small scooters, and small motorcycles fit the definition of a moped.

In legal literature, mopeds are normally defined by limits on engine displacement, speed, power output, transmissions, or the requirement of pedals. In some countries, the legal driving age for a moped is lower than for larger motorcycles, and consequently mopeds are popular among the youth. Typically, mopeds are restricted to 30-50 km/h (19-31 mph) and engines less than 50 cm3. Some localities require pedals, thus making them a form of hybrid vehicle, using both human power and machine power. Because of their small size, many jurisdictions consider them "limited speed motorcycles."

I'm an impulsive buyer, although i looked at the specs but at first i was'nt really impressed because im more into high cc's.

One day we went out looking for aircon for our computer shop (scene fade out), (scene opens at the appliance store, with some back ground music) while waiting i saw the yamaha dealership across the street and went there asked few question, i was so skeptical - hmmm another bike under different packaging!

That afternoon we went home with the aircon unit and a BRAND NEW T135 (closing credits, music), but I'm scratching my head as to what the heck i was thinking!

THE END

- The look
- Monoshock
- Modifiable
- Big ccs

------------ overiding some of its defects:

- Sticky grips (got hand tingling in distance riding)
- Noisy electr start (at least mine)
- Poor behave of front shock

well this is my first motorcycle (i personally own and paid by me)

at first, i dont like moped bikes because i think its not good at offroad
(bumpy roads)

but when its time for me to buy motorcycle, ive seen T135 japan website
and was impressed by the technology...
plus the design and looks....

was also considering Raider, buts its very common.

now i have my T135 and very proud of it, ive seen only two less than 5 t135 in our area and thats what i called we are elite and few :)

paying cash is worth :)
