Well I don't know whether the values below will work in other countries version... but let's try
Tools:
- Digital avometer
- Needle
To check your TPS:
1. Turn off your engine and electricity, release TPS wires from the socket.
2. Set digital avo to ohm meter, connect (+) terminal to blue wire and (-) to black-blue wire.
3. Check whether the avo shows value between 3k-7k ohm, if not, it's time to replace your TPS with the new one
To check your TPS linearity:
1. Plug back in TPS wires to its socket. turn on electricity.
2. Set digital avo to dc voltmeter, connect (+) terminal to yellow wire and (-) to black-blue wire.
3. Check whether the avo shows value 5V, if not, it's time to replace your TPS with the new one
4. Set digital avo back to ohm meter, and open throttle smoothly.
5. Check whether the avo shows linear increase value from 0-5k ohm, if not, replace your TPS
To adjust TPS degree:
1. Set idle rpm to 1300-1500 rpm
2. Set digital avo to dc voltmeter, connect (+) to yellow, (-) to black-blue wire
3. Adjust your TPS position by loosen its nut to get avo value between 0.63-0.73V
Bad/broken tps will cause your engine to get bad mileage and bad acceleration. Too low idle rpm will cause engine to sound unpleasant because decompression is still working.
