those are the firing order bro of your spark inside the chamber

advance ignition advantage is good for acceleration but it sacrifices it's top end performance, where as if you retard the timing it's an opposite run result to your advance timing power band curve w/ will lack in acceleration but a little bit advantage in top end power band of your engine..
but in other hand advance timing is use in poor low rpm spark...retard is use in a high compression engines.

so meaning if you are in high compression engine. set it into Retard.

how if i'm in high comp. engine but i want fast acceleration?
is it ok to set in Advance? TIA

my rextor V1 is set to 1.5-2 deg retard...

advancing the timing does increase acceleration but sacrifices top speed as per experience

i chose top speed over accel...hehe

You are loosing your top speed because your engine is running lean at top speed and advancing the timing causes detonation. Rejet your carb a little richer and run better gas for optimum performance. I run 2 deg advance with larger main jet and 95 octane gas. The performance increase is very noticeable.

i seems dont feels any different using rextor than std CDI. The BRTs does the jobs perfectly unleashed the hidden performance....of course just mention the ordinary rextor ^_^

Just a quick question guys. Is rextor CDI has TPS as well? I guess other Racing CDI have the TPS disabled?
TIA.
