Stator Or Cdi Or Rectifier Or What?

Good day everyone! I'm having a problem with my sniper mx, can you please give me some advice?
When I run the engine of my sniper after 2-3mins of running engine, it started to choke(hagok) , seems like my battery is drained.... But my battery is still new..I already bring my stator to a mechanic if it's short circuited or damage. But the mechanic says it's not damaged. What would be the problem of my snipey? Tnx T135 family.
I'm using a brt dualband cdi and I already change it into my stock cdi but it does the same thing. :(

hi bro, we have the same problem way back months ago...and yes we have the same CDI which is BRT dualband. You would notice that your battery is drained even though its new (just like mine purchased a new battery) and also you will see your CDI is blinking blue meaning its low bat. In my case my stator is not shorted but it cannot fully charge my battery so nauubusan ako ng charge para sustain mga loads ko lalo na yung CDI which rely on our battery for normal functions. So i change my stator and problem solve. Try this bro....fully charge your battery using a battery charger then you will notice after a few days your battery will be drained then your MC will just die on you while cruising and by then its hard to start or cannot start. You can use MIO stator as replacement bro...ohh my sniper is classic dont know if its applicable with your MX...hope this helps Cabalen:):):)

then using a tester or digital tester pag napaandar mu mc mu mseasure the voltage pag naka idle then measure mu din pag nererev mu pag ung tumataas meaning ok stator mu or charging mu,, so battery lng,, mhrap kc nagtwala sa mga replacement na battery kahit sabihin mung isang araw palang yan

This is how I understand it bro and Masters please correct me if I am wrong, Our MC will not start without the CDI ( i think this is obvious) and our CDI whether stock or racing needs to be powered by a power source in our case this is the battery. So under normal condition the CDI gets power from the battery, so what happen when the battery is dead? the CDI will not be powered? of course not there is a redundant power source that will take over when our battery is dead and this is the power coming from the stator...it will power the CDI so even when the battery is dead we can still start our MC.

In my case few months back, I have a new battery to my surprise after a few days its low bat and cant start my MC (actually it will start but eventually will die out). So what I did is to full charge my battery then re-install it and yes it works but for a few days only then same problem again. There is a problem with my charging system, we check the rectifier and there is no voltage output. We install my rectifier/regulator to my friends sniper and its doing all OK. So we ruled it out, then we suspected the stator, after opening the left crankcase we saw that its burned. So I replaced it with a second hand OEM stator. Then check if its charging and yes it is. My MC is running good for a few days then same problem low bat ( I really get upset). So we observed again my MC then we found out that its charging but not charging enough to supply all my MC's load. We suspected the stator is somewhat not that reliable so I purchased a brandnew stator (aftermarket no budget for brandnew) then installed and everything is history up to now. And I can even start my MC even without the battery not like before we change the stator. Again bro this is my experiance...I dont know if we have the same but I hope this help you...I feel what you feel right now he he coz I have been there before. RIDE SAFE and GOD bless
