Bro, maybe your low battery! Somehow, its better for you to go to YAMAHA service center, they are expert about that! They can check everything!

that's normal if you use racing carb on your stock cdi. best thing to do is to use brt racing cdi...

The red light flashing is a warning that the stock cdi can not recognize the TPS (Throttle Positioning System) of your stock carb. Use a racing cdi to eliminate the flickering and steady light when started or do the TPS set-up.

Just recently my temperature light comes on (NOT blinking) a short while after warming up (ie: after 1km riding), if I tip bike to one side light goes off! (sometimes comes back on, but tip again and goes off again) then stays off!!
I thought maybe coolant was low, but on maximum mark? I topped up a bit but same problem, I noticed that level of coolant does NOT go down when hot! is this normal? I am thinking thermostat??

My current specs are:
Yamaha Exciter (T135 in Vietnam) 183cc
UMA super-head (sport) 23mm inlet/20mm exhaust
UMA cam
63mm Malossi bore kit
Malossi Electric coolant pump
28mm PWK carb
Nology Pro-fire coil
nology Hotwire lead
Iridium spark plug
Shorai Lithium Ion battery
DNA airfilter (top completely cut out of air box)
Stainless header pipe (with modified standard muffler 33mm end bore)
Oil cooler (KTL Tecnic)
Stainless steel oil filter (FLO)
Racing clutch springs (Std. plates)
RCDI (Red Plug)

15F/41R sprockets (Hoddaka)
Chain (428 VX DID)G@zi inverted front forks
300mm front disk (RB)
G@zi rear mono shock (damper and rebound adjust)
std. rear disk
std. wheel and tires (f & r)

Yah maybe ur thermostat bro..with a setup like that ur engine would really be hot hehe..
(and by the way dont overfill your coolant reservoir, the radiator needs that space when it vacuums the coolant and circulates it back to the reservoir..)

Thanks bro, problem solved now;
I had a problem recently, coolant tank was always full and red overheat light would come on, I thought maybe thermostat, took it my mechanic, and when he checked coolant system he found a white sludge in the radiator (possibly from a mixture of different coolants!), he cleaned out the system and checked every thing, put back together and problem is now solved (also found fan not switching on, so it is hard wired on now).
