Sir im a newbie,how about if ur set up is vixion kit,brt dualband rcdi,r valve spring,uma clutch spring,uma highcam,uma plug coil,ferrox airfilter...so,what is the pj and mj for stock carb? Old sniper hand clutch...tnxs

*Notes/Tips: If You Increase the piston Size By 1mm, You Also Need To Increase The Size Of Main Jet By One Size.
(Example: Standard = 100 > Increase To 101). Use the closes jetting size available.

so does this mean sir its not practical to change jettings when using stock bore only with rcams at rvs mods?...

hmmm.. stock jettings is design for stock mods like cam, spring, pipe. sometimes replacing the pipe also need to tune the carbs am i right? because the adjustment is difference from stocks.

Hi bro,

Did you order the 17.5 pj of the SZ-R? If not, replacing the existing with the same size or lower size may not help. And YES plug the AIS as our fellow riders are suggesting. This mod is important when you are not in stock pipe anymore. Also the tuneup setting of K1 is in=0.06 and ex=0.08. Tell the mech to use those values whenever you adjust/set the valve clearances.

if you install k1 (kawahara black cam) the instruction must follow allowing to hear just like a stock cam sound. and the said clearance is .06 and .08.

and regarding to the comment of dirtrox72 it says
"the AIS kit is a smog pump kit made my mikuni in most cases...it filters the air leaving the bike so that it "cuts back the emissions" it severely affects the bikes performance as it is one more device for the air to travel to before exiting the bike, also it is a HUGE restrictor. Removing the pump will increase the HP immensely and help the bike run exceptionally"

Thanks for the suggestions kapamilya.. Big thanks.. Ok na mc ko since tnakpan ko ung AIS ko. Mdyo mnsan may knting popping pro d na gaya dati. Just bought a 117.5mj but not yet installed. The mechanic of 3s did not follow the .06in and .08ex instead .08in and .10ex. Sounds like stock cam. K1 cam has a delayed power in low rpm but when it reaches 6k rpm it goes wild. I love it. Hehe. bro @ESOJ de GUZMAN JR, I hope its ok with you to shed some light. Just want to know where you got your mj 117.5 and how much did yamaha charge you for the pj 17.5 of sz-r. The 3s shop here is charging me 680 petot for the pj. I think its absurd. TIA bro!
