Welcome to the board surkrew! I did not know they had the LC135 in Brunei. Anyway isn't that website from Indonesia? Then you shouldn't have any difficulties ordering and shipping parts to your location. I live in Thailand so I can't be of much help but I'm sure there are board members here who can assist you no problem.

Have a good time here bro and enjoyr the new bike, congratulations.

rooster, could you ask them if they can ship to Brunei? if they can, i'll list the items that i wana buy from them. hehehe

but then, if my business trip is confirmed (16/4 - 21/4), then i think it'll be cheaper if they send it to Bali right?

on a side note, are they any good bike shops in Bali that sells LC stuff?

Mio, yes, there are alot of LC here in Brunei. My bro and myself bought em last week. Had minor mods to mine, will post the pic soon. Havent got the chance to take pics of it. Btw, I'm soo loving ur 12 bar. thinkin of adding the bar to my bike, but we'll see how it goes.

so far, i've changed my footpegs, changed the exhaust (ADM brand) that i bought in Limbang, Sarawak, air cleaner, bigger front disc brake with braided brake lines and rear shocks (TE brand i think). i'll be changing the tyres and 42T sprockets later today for better acceleration.

next in the pipeline, rear disc brake system, possibly gp-style swingarm, under fairing (below the engine), single seater, and possibly inverted front forks. but we'll see how it goes.

FYI there will be a race at the end of the month, and another one in the 2nd week of May, if anyone is interested to join *especially those from Malaysia :)*

I like your mods surkrew. Very nice. The 12 bar is too big for our bikes, unlike bigger bikes, but it sure does help your bike alof if you ever happen to over flip :D Which I had learned from my previous stunt riding practices and wiped out bad.

If you wanna get 42T in the back, make sure you get a front of either 15 or 16 if possible. Acceration will be ok and speeds not bad. Your gear ratio will be balanced out instead of a really short ratio like having a 14T front, which is not too good.

Don't forget the pics bro and happy hunting!

it will be a very tight business trip to Bali, so i dun think i could go to surabaya. maybe during the holidays in June. still thinkin of goin to KL/Indon/Thailand. Was thinkin of goin to Thai, but after reading from the board, and like Mio said, Thai dun have much parts, so it will probably be Indon. Will decide when the days come closer.

Mio, thanks. Will post the pic tomorow. I'll take the pic later today, after installing the stuff this afternon. Got my dad to send my bike to a yamaha agent since I'm working till 530.

I'll be using a 42T, with a new chain of course. and i've checked yesterday that the original front is a 15T, so it wouldnt be a problem. (i've read one of the thread with ur expirent with the sprocket combination before i actualy bought the 42T hehehe thanks for the tip;))

Mio, when u pop a wheelie, wat gear are you in? 1st or 2nd? i tried on the 1st gear from stand still, and it works. Was tryin to pop it up on 2nd gear when goin about 20-30 km/h but i just couldn't get it up. Back then, i can pop a wheelie on 2nd gear when I used my minimoto/midimoto (like in the video below)

on my minimoto/midimoto, i do stand up wheelies while in 2nd gear. i also did a sitting-with-both-feet-on-air-infront-of-the-handle-bar on 1st gear from stand still. u get an idea of what i mean? ehehe

but on my LC, i did a sitting wheelie.. i'll try to get pix if i can get someone to take the pic tho... ehehe

People here don't know how to kick the clutch. I usually start off slow and kick the clutch while revving pretty hard which will instantly bring up the front wheel but you gotta try to maintain the balance which is tough. I use the 12 bar when doing standing up wheelies, that way you get to touch your front wheel if your good enough with your hand :D

cools... would like to see ur 12oclock wheelie with ur hand touching ur front wheel... :D post the video bro... post the video.. hehehe:D:D

btw, talking about the break in, im not rily good at engines and all those stuff that's been said in the site, but my first oil change was when the milage is about 500+ km.. the next one im told is at 1500 km.. but so far, i've riden the bike at 120km/h, which in actual, is about 100km/h. i tried riding alongside my bro's car and also alongside my gf, and found out that the speedometer is about 20km/h faster the actual speed. so meaning to say, if you go about 100km/h on ur bike, ur actualy goin about 80km/h.

If you think you go fast.... forget it, illusion! I checked the speedometer with a gps... far away from reality:

50km on the clock was 45km on the gps, 60 was 53; 70 was 60, 80 was 68, 90 -> 77; 100 -> 85

Since this gps was cross-tested with several cars and bikes, it is quite reliable, although debatable...

But, is it and stays a nice bike

how i rased my ass!!

Sure, what i did is i placed a 2X6 inder the center stand. then disconnected the rear shock. 1 bult, then measured the distance from hole on sping arm and hole on shock. went out baught a shock lifter for mono shock. but it was waaaayyyy tooo long. had to cut and weld using that bracket to fabrocate new one with it's peices. then fitted it to the bike, it's kinda tricky because the two holes on the lifter have to be opisit, meaning cross . eg: pic.. below, drawing diagram. not to scale.

then installed it and it's done.

Goff I didn't know you were a weld man :) I weld too. Isn't it fun? I fabricated that 12 o'clock bar myself. Its a little offset but not serious, I can still get uponone and scratch the bar with the floor without tipping over.

To save me the fabrication work, I am just gonna go out and get a Honda LS125 monoshock instead.
