Super Veteran
hi guys, just want to know how to wire an LED Bar Headlight like this one on the pic without converting the MC to battery operated. I know there would be an installation of a separate switch. but i would like to know the wiring diagram and if a relay will be needed. thanks

Bro,,,, just start plugging wires into things,,,,,,,,,,,,, you will find out quickly if you were wrong or not :p:p...

Just kidding,,, I would wait on the SME's before you do something you can't fix so easily (i do that all the time, lol)...

Is this going to be your main headlight, no "brights"?

Personally I would like to have some additional lighting mounted low down on the forks and pointed to the sides to get the edge of the road and center of the lane more on those real dark roads.

the sole purpose for this one bro is during long rides only and as a secondary headlight just to light up the way when riding in super dark roads that have no street lights. but daily i would not put it on my MC.

choose the proper wattage wisely or else ur battery will be drain; for me if u want that 2 things light up at the same time just directly tap a switch from fuse and connect the 2 leds in parallel no need for a relay. But if u want 2 leds light up or only 1 led at a time, u will need a relay and a 3 way toggle switch ;)

there will be only one led light bar that i will install and im thinking about 18watts of it.

I think its ok as long as the beam light is directly or pointing down the road not to incoming drivers :D

yup red is direct from battery.
brown is the positive from ignition key where you shoud tap your led lights.
that is based from the classic 135 wiring...

i think same wiring color coding on the 150 efi series
