How To Test Stator?

Kapag nabasa po ba yung stator coil masisira na po agad? Kasi po pinarepaint ko po yung mga side covers thrn nabasa ko po ng tjbig yung stator. Konti lang naman, tapos nung binalik na po. Wala pong kuryente lumalabas sa ignition after maikabit lahat. Help pls

I guess ignition is produced by the pulser and the magneto and not the stator. Right? Stator supplies current to the cdi and lights.
You can bring your stator to a electronic repair shop near you and they will use a tester to see if it's shorted.
