HID issue

bro, asked my friend. he told me to remove the yellow wire connected to the rectifier. it will automatically be converted to fast charging mode.
any comment about this?
hi bro, same situation with regards on the HID. my HID installed 2-3 mos. and my battery was drained i was shocked because my battery was new. now ive checked my rectifier if the yellow wire was on cut because as per some people said that upon installed by mechanic they cut usually the yellow wire for direct electricity to HID or for fast charging on the battery when the HID is on, upon opened my snipee yes there was a cut wire. but i dont know why my battery drained after 2-3 mos. SO i return back the yellow wire.
NOW, im into observation if my battery drain again after i return back the yellow wire. i hope that it wont because i know our snipee was a strong charging in the battery.. for your feedback soon

@ mhektheone When you cut the yellow wire your headlight will no longer turn on even headlight switch is on with engine running. Turn off engine then connect brown wire to yellow wire going to switch, if headlight switch turned on and your headlight and park light turned on then your MC is now battery operated.:)
sir ask lang po. almost 2-3 mos nka HID ako at new battery ko after 2-3mos nalolobat at nadrained battery ko. i dont know y pero upon check my MC the yellow wire was on cut naman. kay ginawa ko binalik ko ulit yung yellow wire at umasa na hindi malolobat or madrained yung battery ko. kasi db fast charging naman MC natin so binalik ko nalng yung yellow wire. for your suggest and comment po many thanks

thanks so much..tried and tested the diagram of idol thon..spdt relay is a bit hard to find here in our area lol..everything is working fine. voltage with hid on and revving reaching 15 and yet to test if no lowbat..;)..update after 1 month

dont ever think that the magic is done after cutting yellow wire from rectifier, there are still several rewiring to be done to come up with battery operated HID and all electric devices;

without proper knowledge what to be done next after cutting yellow wire, u seriously harm ur CDI, battery and electrical system...

some informative concern are properly discussed in all pages here...

the better way is to put a relay device (SPDT RELAY and i think its common on autosupplies because i owned and purchased one): fast charging is ON when HID is in use or switch-on, fast charging is OFF or disable when HID is not in use or switch-off.

paps did you do also the instructions from @thon regarding fast charging only when HID is turned on?,, If not maybe your battery experiences over charging because you are in fast charging all the time even if the HID is not in use.

Hey guys. just wanted to ask about BRT Kipro-X . it is categorized as fast charging rectifier. I need fast charging mode without damaging my wiring stuff. as i would leave it stock. i had posted in Malaysia forum regarding my issue. Btw in before i buy that thing could it resolve my issue?

issue: when i use electric starter. the starter seem stuck a while than continue to cranking the the engine until its up to operating idling speed.

don't cut the brown wire. cut the yellow wire or remove yellow wire from socket then tap to brown wire. (ignition wire to be sure) On panel gauge there's a brown wire coming from flasher relay going to signal light switch(its brown/white) but there also brown wire on the panel gauge going to panel gauge and gear indicator light.
You can tap(connect) any of the 2 brown wires but make sure it not the brown wire coming from flasher relay.

Sir thon my mc is mio sporty, is this diagram still applicable? thus it have the same color code in wirings? I tried your diagram but the brown wire from the gauge light is the one i tap to the yellow wire instead ... at first its functioning well but after i drove almost 1hour in the street the battery is lobat huhu anyway i dont convert yet to fast charge or cut the yellow wire in the rectifier... pls help... will i tap know the yellow to the ignition key brown wir? tanx sir... do u have sun mobile no.? i want to call u sir... becoz i have rides this coming weekend huhu i need to fix my hid tanx sir thon...

You experience low bat sir. Your charging system should be upgraded.
You can upgrade your charging system to fast charge by cutting yellow wire on the rectifier but you need to install SPDT relay or upgrade your charging system to full
wave. Installing relay will revert charging to normal charging when HID is off.

my hid now is ok... i thought the battery got lowbat/deffective but when i check, the wire going to the bat with fuse was removed. Thanks sir thon for the diagram... my hid now is ok with no lobat... even if i dont convert to fast charge/cut the yellow wire...

Is there anyone here familiar how to to limit the voltage output?i'm planning to install uma racing digital meter.and they mention that when i'm running hid. The fast charging setup will hurt the LCD of that particular meter.just want to know how to prevent this from happening..any response will be greatly appreciated...thank you and saferide!

hi masters. need your input about my issue. i have my hid installed earlier. the mechanic put a fast charging regulator. it was working well on the shop then I was advised to just let my hid on from there till I get home by the mechanic. when i was near home, i noticed my horn got weak so i suspect im having problem with my bike's electricity and then the engine went off. :( after sometime trying, engine started again and i managed to reach home (hid off this time). i was advised to replace my battery. is it really the battery to blame? is fast charging regulator really effective? no knowledge about wiring here. kindly assist me. thanks guys in advance.

bro, i also talked one of the electricians ive asked before about your issue. they said if you had it fast-charged, there's still another step to make it back to normal if the battery is full. because once the battery is overcharged, it will get busted and shortened it's life span. that's what they told me.

my issue here is different. i hope ma-answer po ng iba..
