Help With Wiring Diagram

Hi fellow t135 members,

I would like to ask for your help? I'm gonna attach something on my ignition key. I would like to same as my stock odometer panel. When i ON the key it is the neutral icon is lightened. What wire should i top the device? the RED wire? or the Brown wire based on the main switch? The device i will install has a Red Positive wire and Black wire (in the installment manual it must be on a good ground source). Should i connect the Red Wire to the Red Wire of the main switch?

would you mind telling us what device are you going to attach....

with regards to your description, if you will tap on the Red wire from the ignition,
your device will receive power from the battery regardless if the ignition is in ON or OFF position.

on the other hand, tapping on the brown wire would give you power whenever the ignition key is turned ON
in fact, tapping on any brown wire in your wiring harness will give the same result.
easiest way to access the brown wire is under the speedometer panel.

brown wire = on if ignition is on

both wires are positive
