does anyone here knows how to use a tester?

so that we can D.I.Y test our wirings...
i just went to a motorcycle shop and unfortunately based on their opinions....

i dont trust them.. i dont want them to do some trial and error on my motorcycle!!!!

afaik, to use the tester, you should start setting on the high or highest to low volt. Especially if you didn't know the voltage of the one you are being tested for afaik your tester will get busted
