Holy Moly... Your TMR-MJN is small man...., install is a breeze eh? the color is so sexy arggggg.....

The Tm28-1 top to bottom is around 17 cm give or take, i have to wait till next week to come back to VN and get a hand on my stock carb to compare ^_^

@dennis : well what i know from experience is this carb is very sensitive to humidity and temperature, a real race carb where every track and location has its own jet sizes... but if u do manage to tune it correctly.. well.. it's a damn GOOD carb..

EDIT :
besides Keihin FCR, this monster is the favorite underbone road race champions' carb in Indonesia.. by team Yamaha FDR.. and.. u know what.. u can mod this carb so it CAN USE TPS !!... just extend the axle bar on the front.. i think i already post this before..

@traxx

I think this is the tmr series.but it gets more confusing now because from what vnduck's carb is I think its tmr also.Now the mikuni Tm carb series is the same as your yoshi carb mjn only thing is its not a mjn.The TM28 is the almost same as yours but only bigger bore.

@haen

I think my mech will gonna have big headache sorting out the jettings for this thing hehe! Bro care to enlighten us whats the diffrence between my carb and vnduck's? thanks for the help!

@dennis : vnduck's carb is NOT a TMR carb.. it's TM28-1.. specifically developed for a 4 stroke trail bike.. so we should expect good low rpm torque and med - up power.. especially with that atomizer.. on the other hand.. dennis' is a Mikuni TMR.. there's two versions of these in here.. that standard TMR (like dennis') and TMR - MJN (NOT like traxxas') but had the MJN nozzles and painting.. price for TMR here about USD 450 - 550

i thought the Tm code is used for flat carb only?

And Traxxas's carb is not a TMR-MJN? then what is it?

ahaw, so confused!

@vnduck : traxxas' actually should be called TM-MJN hehehhe... i guess that 'R' letter is referring to race only carbs.. u r right.. TM was meant for flat slide series from Mikuni.. just the leader of the pack is dennis' based on jetting complexity and application for race.. don't get me wrong.. there's no 'best' carb here.. everything depends on the other component.. the engine..
