MOTORCYCLE LIGHTEN FLYWHEEL Q&A:
im answering some questions posted to me
Q: do i need to open the crankcase if i install this lighten flywheel?
A: NO, just open the right side cover, as easy as changing your clutch linings
Q: Can i still charge my battery if i install lighten flywheel?
A: DEFINITELY YES, flywheel does not have anything to do with charging or electricity.
its the stator & magneto (right side of engine) that is incharge of the electricity and not the flywheel.
Q: Can i go back to original flywheel if i ever want to go back?
A: YES, thats the beauty of this. its Plug and Play
Q: Ive read in the other forums (especially car and bigbikes) and they say it will decrease topspeed?
A: NO, its the opposite. using lighten flywheel will increase topspeed
because the remaining power of the engine will go directly to the tire thus
increasing top speed and not wasted to turn the heavy stock flywheel.
Q: Then why do they say in car and big bike forum it will decrease topspeed?
A: because a small power increase brought by lighten flywheel is negligible in cars and bigbikes
because by stock they already have 100+ horsepower already.
Unlike to us where small bike with average 10hp can feel the little increase in power.
its like a carrying a sack of rice on a truck versus a sack of rice on a bicycle.
Q: Why did yamaha choose heavy flywheel compared to lighten flywheel?
A: For comfort and to satisfy the broad range of riders (learners, newbies to racers)

-users who wants to enjoy their sniper more compared to stock flywheel

-using their bike for drag racing
-above 170cc engines
-umaakyat ng bundok na naka idle lang throttle, ayaw pumiga kahit kunti..
-users na gustong umangat ang front tire pag bitaw ng clutch sa traffic stop
