Is there any intermediete cam which will not make noise. Something with not too much of duration. Also will stiff springs dampen the noise.

The valves size of the R15 is the same as the t135. ext is 17mm Inlet is 19.5mm the cam is also the same profile as the Vixion. I need something with more duration than more lift. Also do these cams need mandatory stiff spring?

I was practising for a Yamaha organised race which is up this weekend. Was spending some time practising. Its a race for stock class R15s. You cant remove anything, not even lights. The R15 can be stripped to make it another 10kgss lighter, it will be more fun then ;)

I put back the stock cam today, coz it was making too much noise. Removed the decomp and set tappet clearance to 10 on In and EXt. Bike feels better than earlier now.

Mirror finish is the way to go. FYI FI engines have a plastic sleeve through the ports to give the smoothest flow without high undulations or high spots.

So what just use it. 105 should be fine. Have u richened the needle?
