sir, valve clearance depends on the lift of your camshaft. You have re adjust over and over till you get the lowest possible output for better performance. try starting on 9-13, 10-15, 13-18. make sure your valves isn't hitting your piston or else it's another heck of a problem...

Please advise, I've been planning to buy this, faito low cam advance II. Is this effective on stock bore? and base on what I've read I need to pocket my piston to 4mm or 5mm which is right? and do I need to change my carb to 28mm and PNP my head?

valve pockets? not necessarily, faito cams 2 low cam advance (low lift but advance cam duration) i guess 5.8mm lift or not exceeding 6mm, if you are UMA R3 cams user... valve pocketing is advisable..
The hardest way if your're using Faito 2 low cam advance, you need a tool kit for cam timing degree (degree wheel tool) and adjustable cam gear..
This cam base on our experience is not plug and play like other cams. You need to install perfectly timing to maximize your power output and torque.. base on their cam timing chart specs.

If not... one or two of these power output will suffer ( low end, mid range, top end) either for stock bore and big bore
