i use LED headlight, little bit pricey but its worth it... needs minor modifications, headlight must be battery driven...

also, frequent lights-on the headlight within a longer time while in stop mode can cause the lens to burn,

Wow, same problem with mine for this type of head light bulb. I've already tried to make my electricals to battery direct operation but still may reflector burned gradually to the point the headlight position is pointing up. So I've decided to use HID. I dont have any idea or explanation why, because before it came to headlight bulb dis alignment the contact of headlight socket and bulb are melted(lead contact).

i have a problem with my HID, it doesn't start immediately, i have to repeatedly switch it off & on until it lights up. what could be the reason behind this? i already checked the electrical connection and it is securely connected, i even taped but still the same result.
