Bore 63mm Shark & 63mm Top Performance Bore

I have a question about the Shark cylinder,

Why are they 63mm but they have 150cc writen on the side? are they just re-sleeved cylinders from 150cc yamaha's??

Also i want to Know more information about "top Performance" 63mm kit,
Apparently they are made in Italy and everything else is very hard to find out. If you got some info let me know im buying one of these on the 15/19/2012 (due to having to travel to a city which supplies these)
if i dont get any info ill just wait an extra month and get a malossi.

if theres 150cc marked on the bore for 63mm , its resleeved.

the top performance is italy made, its expensive

you can choose from below italy bore kits
-malossi 63mm
-athena 63mm
-top performance 63mm

those bore kits cost 3times more than asian products

Yea i know about malossi they're very good but even more expensive then Top Performance and Athena BUT i did find the piston was very heavy and caused stronger vibrations compared to others would, but i was just wondering what materials the Top Performance one is, looks like a steal bore from the photo's.

all aftermarket bore kits are steel bores.
only yamaha have diasil technology

Im pretty sure pretty sure the malossi is an aluminum block and its all nikasiled....light weight and tough
as for inside the sleeve im not sure about malossi im pretty sure they would be running high tech sleeves something like a Diasil or chrome bore...wouldn't believe it would just be steel....Italians are pretty switched on.

I could imagine the Shark bore has just been coated but under the coating just a YZF r15 thats been re-sleeved like you say....
